Reformatų Skveras Park in Vilnius, Lithuania

Vilnius is filled with little parks, places to drift into from a busy street, sit down and have lunch (weather permitting). Most are classical in nature, plenty of lawn, wide paths and a statue or two. But there are unmistakable Soviet-era touches also, a love for hard edges and poured concrete.

Reformatų Skveras is one of those parks. It's a giant stepped sculpture meandering through a park.

The steps aren't wide enough for sitting or climbing. Missing bench.

Erosion control or people control?

Nature has softened the steps a bit. And, of course, graffiti has moved in.

A plaza to walk through, not so much a place to hang out. With the combination of harsh weather and Soviet style, the mood has been set.
